All Knotted Up!

So... It's been a LONG time since I've blogged about anything. First off I got sick and was out of work for 5 WEEKS!!! It sucked big time and I was in no mood to try anything crafty. Sad I know, but when I went to Hobby Lobby to buy something to keep my mind off of being sick I had a migraine attach driving on my way back. So, that bumbed me out big time!!! I'm back to being healthy and feeling good so I've got my crafty little hands a going!

Thanks to my bestest friend of all times Jaclyn I started making these super cute wreaths. Knot Wreaths is what I like to call them but they might have another fancy name. They are so easy to make and turn out looking super cute but it takes FOREVER to make one. Not really forever but it takes me at least two hours. Well worth the time though because they turn out so cute and you can add any thing to them to make them personalized. Of course I added wooden letters because I love monogram anything. Jason left for his week trip to Memphis with Ali last Friday so I had a little time to myself to play ARTSY FARTSY craft time! I ventured off to Hobby Lobby in Maryville to get a grape vine wreath to play with until Jaclyn sent me the coolest idea and I went to town in the fabric section. I swear I was there for at least 2 hours!!! We can decorate our desk at work however we want now so I wanted to make a cute wreath for my cube door. :)

After I picked out the fabric I needed I headed to the floral section to get a simple wire wreath. ($1.99-woo hoo!)  I'll put the instruction on how to make the wreath below. It's so simple and turns out so cute and it a GREAT gift for anyone! I made myself one then decided I should make my boss Alice one for her boring plain wooded door at work. Every time I make her something everyone else seems to want one too! I guess she's my Guinea pig for my craft project. ;) I think they both turned out great! I'm not cutting my fabric perfect I just fold and fold until I get a strip then cut down the middle then cut the pieces that are folded. SIMPLE AND EASY!!!!  As always enjoy and get crafty!!!

P.S.
I also found another blog that instructions if that helps!! :)
(Instead of a hunny bun roll of fabric I bought 5-6 different colors of fabric and had the sweet ladies at Hobby Lobby cut them into 1/4 of a yard. That's all you need!!! :)
Looky Here!!! :)

I bought the one next to me left foot. Middle sized one.

5 strips of different colors. You can use as many as you want though!

Keep going around and around.

LOVE the wooden M for a personal touch!

A for Alice! Love the colors I picked for her wreath!

My newest request from Karen at work. This will be for her front door! The colors match her house! :)

knot after knot after knot... ;)

Just gotta add the M for her last name! :)
