Camo Painted Wooden Box!

Today on my Hobby Lobby trip I happen to run into my friend/ co-worker Rebecca. Rebecca is the friend helping me with garden tips and tricks. She taught me the tomato bucket I'll be planting soon!! So excited! Mainly because I get to paint the bucket really cute! :) I'm going to plant a 5 gallon bucket with regular size tomatos then a 2 gallon bucket for little Tommy Toe tomatos! Of course I forgot to get RED paint at Hobby Lobby this afternoon! UGH! I'll have an excuse to go there tomorrow! :) Then I'll paint my cutesy tomato plant buckets!

Since I spent almost 2 hours in Hobby Lobby today I got to look around at all fun exciting projects! I went to the wood section and saw this cute little box. It was only $1.99 so I figured why now? I could use a cute box for anything! Then I walked a little further down the isle and saw the cute little swirly wooded letters. Just like the letter I used for my garden decor! O.M.G I got so many cute ideas in my head! I bought a W... why a W? Hmmm... all I thought of was my cousin Hannah's soon to be little boy Cooper! I'll buy a W for their last name... then I'll paint it camo since Thomas LOVES <3 camo... psssht! Any ways I thought it would look cute in his room maybe she can keep binki's in it or something?

I first painted the box all over with an Army greenish color. I then painted light tan brown blobs then made them have texture with brush marks. I had to look at a picture of camo to get the black idea to go all over the box. Trying to make it look like camo was a little tough but once I started painting it just happen. Magic Touch! ;) All I had left to do was paint the W black. I wanted it to camo in but still stand out a little. Keep it cute and little boy looking at the same time.Momma's boy and Daddy's son at the same time!!

TA DAA!!!! :)
